A session with me is going to be messy, indulgent, fun. Don't be surprised if I ask you to climb a tree, go for a dip, play in the sand, get messy, remove your shoes, let your hair down. If your session takes place in your home, expect for me to move furniture and other belongings around to take advantage of the light or textures that I see. I want your images to be unique and creative, and most of all, I want your experience with me to be interesting and unforgettable.

Session fees begin at $150, and represent your investment in my time and talent only; no prints are included. Payment is expected at the time of your booking to hold the date, and is non-refundable.

Locations around this area are plentiful and varied. Think beyond the norm, and really try to envision a place that is meaningful to you. The best locations are ones that you have spent time in; I've done sessions everywhere from horse ranches, to urban downtown, to an abandoned building in the middle of a grassy field...I even once shot an entire session inside a hospital! (The light and architecture were amazing.) There are no limits to where we can shoot ...the Seattle (and surrounding) area is full of beautiful architecture and color and life. When we arrive, I'll use a trained creative eye to determine the best lighting, textures, and backdrops for my shots, so leave all of the work up to me.

Once we've booked a date and I've received your deposit, I will send you information to help you with clothing choices and other welcome materials relevant to your session type.

Please allow about 1.5 hours for a typical portrait session (newborns may take a little bit longer). We will discuss at length the type of session you've booked with me and plan accordingly.

after your session.

About two weeks after your session, you will receive a password to view your images in a private online gallery. A preliminary edit will be applied to approximately 20-40 of your proofs to adjust for basic color and exposure. Once you have made your choices, I will hand-edit each ordered proof for additional color saturation, blemish removal, etc. Your gallery will remain online for 14 days from the day it is posted; print orders over $300 placed during that time will receive a bonus 15% credit for future use.
